This deal is all for the food lovers who like to sample different cuisines without actually traveling to that place. I am talking about the ongoing Kashmiri Food Festival at Over The Moon, Gachibowli. The festival is curated by Chef Sanjay Raina and there is a wonderful spread of Kashmiri Food for you to dig in without traveling to Kashmir. That’s truly Incredible India, sitting in Hyderabad I can visualize Kashmir through its food. Shall we say north meets south?

For the starters there are Tabakmaaz, Seekh Kebab, Nadru Kebab, Chicken Kanti and Veg Shami; while Chicken Kanti was juicy and soft I think Veg Shami was avoidable.

For the main course, you can take your pick from Rista, Gushtaba, Mutton Roganjosh, Muchh Koftas, Chicken Yakhni, Yellow Paneer, Nadru Yakhni, Dum Aloo, Khattey Baingan and more.

Kashmiri Food Festival – A glimpse
Phirni – a sweet delight

Even if you are a non-vegetarian I would recommend a serving of Khattey Baingan with a bread of your choice for strong yet lovely flavors of the spices that burst in your mouth with the first bite. Also, Nadru Yakhni was delicious and easy on the palate with a nice balance of spices.

Finish your meal on a sweet note with Saffron Phirni and take a slice of paradise with you at an unmatchable price.

    1. Thank you. I am a vegetarian by choice and enjoyed all the veg dishes and the dessert. Over the Moon in Gachibowli is a lovely place with awesome food. Must try when in Hyderabad.
