The MoU was signed and exchanged in the presence of the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Dr. Raman Singh; M.T. Nandi, IFS, Managing Director, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board; Shreerang Pathak, Deputy General Manager, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board; Dilip Acharya, Head Operations Section, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board and Ankit Rastogi, VP Marketplace, Stayzilla.com.

As per the agreement, Stayzilla will help in the verification process and other technical process and both the partners will boost homestays in cities and other places of interest within the state.

With abundant forest cover, tribal population, ancient carved temples, palaces, water falls that are famous world over, rock plateaus and a wide variety of flora and fauna the state has a tremendous potential to tap the inbound tourists. As the demand for experience driven stays shoots up, Chhattisgarh has a lot to look forward to as it is one of the must visit places for travellers interested in culture, ancient civilisation, wildlife and spirituality.

Stayzilla would help educate potential hosts in the state thus opening maximum number of homestays and B&B (Bed and Breakfast). This is the fifth strategic tie up of Stayzilla with a state tourism board to boost tourism in the country. Stayzilla has already signed MoUs with Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation, Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited and Punjab Heritage and Tourism Promotion Board hence establishing itself as a major and a serious player in the homestays and alternate stays industry.

At present Stayzilla has more than 55,000 stay options across 4500 towns in the country.
