The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace is celebrating dim sum festival and on offer are a variety of dimsums to tickle your taste buds that go very well with dips to enhance the flavors. The menu includes both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dimsums and sweet dimsums too.
The festival caters to both the vegetarians and the non-vegetarians and dimsums are prepared and served in different styles (read dips). For vegetarians there are cabbage dimsums; baby spinach, wild mushroom dumplings; steamed black fungus, asparagus and parmesan gyoza to name a few and the non-vegetarians can indulge in mix seafood and corn shumai; Picking duck dim sum; Chicken and celery kothe and Deep-fried avocado and scallops with vermicelli to pick a few of the many more.
I was there for the preview of the festival and my personal favorite was steamed black fungus, asparagus and parmesan gyoza with the soy sauce. I also tried the sweet versions of the dimsums like the roasted sesame and jaggery dim sum, coconut and glutinous rice dumplings and deep fried tofu sesame dumplings. Personally, I like the salt version better but then I am sure the kids would love the sweet ones as well.
